How to Edit an Existing Ticket
Please follow the following sections to edit an existing ticket in Target Helpdesk.
What is the Time & Materials tab?
The Time & Materials tab allows operators and field engineers to log the time they have spent working on a ticket.
What do i need to do?
Please follow the following steps to add an entry to the Time & Materials tab.
| 1. | Click on the Time & Materials tab. |
| 2. | The Time & Materials tab will appear. Click on the Add button. |
| 3. | Enter a date and time for when the work was performed. |
| 4. | Enter a Narrative or description of the work that was performed. |
| 5. | Enter the amount of time taken to perform the work. For example 1 hour and 30 minutes. |
| 6. | Select a rate from the drop down box if you have setup these. |
| 7. | When you have finished click on the Save button. |

How do i edit a time entry that i have already saved?
You can change a Time & Materials entry by selecting the appropriate entry from the Time Tracking section. When you have selected the appropriate entry right click on it and select Edit Entry. Change the information that is already entered in the fields and click on the Update button when you have finished.
